    1. There are only two styles - the pattern made by Hobsons (already pictured in this thread) and the one made by Victors of Aldershot (which may or may not be marked ‘Victors’). I attach photo.
    2. As pointed out above, this badge is for an American OSS Operational Group (OG) deployed in Greece during WWII - nothing to do with the British SAS.
    3. This style is also used by the NZ SAS but not the British SAS (or the Rhodesian), as they use the earlier ‘Victors’ style locket.
    4. My information is that these Denisons were supplied to the Belgians at the end of WWII and used loops and buttons because zips weren’t available or too expensive. The Belgians wore the British pattern para wings during WWII and post war moved them to over the right breast, so this Denison could have a Belgian connection.
