      My ex-wife is German, and after her grandma died she found a box full of still from grandpa (who passed years earlier). My son recently Joined the Bundeswehr as a Gebirgsjäger and so she thought this medal/broach might be from the Bundeswehr or previous German military. Especially with the edelweiss on the crest, and the wooden skis. I can find a tuning online about it, or even Sonthofen, so I’m thinking it might just be an old Winter Ski Club broach. anyone know anything about this?
