    1. I couldn't find anything regarding when was Gen Zia awarded this but according to this, https://www.indiatoday.in/magazine/international/story/19820228-general-zia-ul-haq-diplomatic-blitz-771556-2013-10-18 , he visited Yugoslavia in 1982. I guess they might've have given it to him then. Plus, he was also present at Tito's funeral in 1980.
    2. Damn that was fast. Thanks @Megan and @Dragomir.
    3. Does anyone recognises the PURPLE SASH and its badge that General Zia is wearing? The other sash is for a Saudi Order of King AbdulAziz 1st Class (1980's version) and the Badge below the medals is the Order of the Star of Jordan (In some photos, he's seen wearing its Sash as well and Order of Independence (Jordan) Badge is not visible here). This is the only photo I could find where this PURPLE SASH's Badge is visible. Other photos on GettyImages, Shutterstock and Alamy, you can only see the Sash (Photo 2) 2. Visible Badges here: Order of King AbdulAziz 1st Class (1980's version), Order of the Star of Jordan and Order of Independence (Jordan) hidden behind the sash,
    4. "Suppose the owner of this medal bar elected not to mount these common commemoratives (issued to practically everyone including the wash room attendant) along with his important gallantry, military merit and long service awards? " Bro, It's the army. A few more ribbons on their chest are like the new PLAYSTATION to them
    5. These may belong to your Grand father but still these are fake. Where's the Hijri Medal? Even Defence Personnel on duties to the Gulf Countries (Building their Armies and Air Forces), got that as well. Even my dad, posted to the then Abu Dhabi AIr Force received his Hijri Medal in 1981 and the ribbon 1980. One more thing, considering this collection has the Republic Medal 1956, and the 10, 20 and 30 year Service Medals, which were introduced to the Generals in '92 and given to everyone else by 94, where are your Grand Dad's Democracy Medal 1988 and 50th Jubilee of the Pakistan Resolution Medal 1990. HENCE PROVEN: IT'S A FAKE
    6. Sorry to break it to you but these are FAKE. Firstly: The Second last medal should be Hijri Medal 1979 Secondly: Since these include the 10,20 and 30 years Service Medal (which were instituted for the Generals in 1991 and for the rest in 1992) this military set should include the Jamhuriat Tamgha (Democracy Medal) - 1988 and Qarardad-e-Pakistan Tamgha (Resolution Day Golden Jubilee Medal)- 1990
    7. @heusy68 You just solved the mystery. So, yeah it is the CISM Medal of Merit - Officer. https://ispr.gov.pk/press-release-detail.php?id=3542 https://www.dawn.com/news/1293668 https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/49th-international-military-sports-council-cism-sailing-championship-2016.459065/ Thanks @heusy68
    8. I have researched this to the nth degree. https://ispr.gov.pk/press-release-archive.php?cat=navy&p=92 This first image of Admiral Zakaullah with this ribbon is on the 26th Nov, 2016 https://ispr.gov.pk/press-release-detail.php?id=3598 There are press releases about other ribbons but nothing on this white and blue one. P.S: Everything that you've shared from Wikipedia, I wrote that there. Added the whole Medals and Decorations section plus those Reference links. Click on a Ribbon Image and read the username
    9. It can't be. Pakistan is one of those countries that doesn't recognize Israel. It's even written in the passport that THIS PASSPORT IS VALID FOR ALL THE COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD EXCEPT ISRAEL. So I don't think this is gonna be an Israeli Medal.
    10. This are Admiral Zakaullah's (Pakistan) Ribbons. Does anyone have an idea what country this WHITE with BLUE STRIPES ribbon is from? The first from left on the bottom row.
    11. That's Staff College Quetta's Instructor Medal on the bottom right
