    1. Please, remove it. My mistake. Thanks.
    2. Not really. I have it, it´s a good book, and even though it covers a lot of medals from different periods, all pictures are in black and white. And the description of many medals is quite simple, it only covers the medal design, but not why it was awarded and how many awards were made. Not worth that money, besides, it´s in spanish. Regards, Dolfek.
    3. What!!! AU $99.00 for the medal. As PK just said, a later made piece. But even for a period one, almost 75 euros is a lot of money. I have a few of them and I wouldn´t ever ask for more than 50 euros, even with the box. Regards, Dolfek.
    4. Thanks very much for sharing the badges and explaining them. So there are two sizes, the badge itself and the miniature pin? Regards, Dolfek.
    5. Hello, I found some information about this piece, but only as a refecence. As you said the officer awarded these orders received them somewhere between 1833-1868, under Isabel II reign. Well, I found a piece like yours but from the Alfonso XIII period (1902-1931) in a catalog from 2002. They priced at 330 Euros. So, if yours is from an older regime and 8 years later from that sale catalog price list, I guess the price of your order should be higher. That´s all for the moment. Regards, Dolfek.
    6. Hello, Answering all your questions it´s going to be an imposible task, at less for me. But if I help you with a few of them I´ll be more than happy. Best regards, Dolfek.
    7. Hello, It would be a great help to see the reverse of the breast stars. At first sight they look fine to me, but I´m afraid I´m not an expert in this period. I´m a Spanish Civil War and WWII collector. But I´ll have a look at one of my books and catalogs, to see if I can get some information from them. It may take me some time, but I´ll try to do my best. Best regards, Dolfek.
    8. Hi, Sorry, but I´m afraid I don´t know the exact period. But my guess would be right after the war, during the 1940´s. I´ll try to find it out for you, if I´m lucky enough. Regards, Dolfek.
    9. Hi, It´s the uprising and victory Nationalist commemorative medal for the 1936-1939 campaing. There´re two types of medal, in bronze and silver. The silver type is almost ten times more expensive than the bronze one. In a spanish military antique shop catalog from 2002 the bronze medal was 12 euros, while the silver type was 96 euros. I hope this helps you a bit. Regards, Dolfek.
    10. Nice looking medal bar to a brave priest. I´m really surprised Highly decorated civil war and Blue Div. veteran, wounded in action, holder of the War Cross and six war military crosses ( 4 red and 2 white). And the Iron Cross 2nd of course. Impressive. What king of priest was he? The angel from Hell? Regards, Dolfek.
    11. It´s not December yet! Nice looking Star. Regards, Dolfek.
    12. What else could I say? Simply amazing collection. Regards, Dolfek.
    13. Thanks Valter. It´s what I thought about the belt, but the cords/lanyard it ´s what really keeps me confused. I´ll have a look at the stitching. Thanks very much. Best regards, Dolfek.
    14. Hello Alan, We are talking about the Spanish Military Merit Cross for combat actions (red enamel). I would say by the pictures, that the cross in question is from the late 1960´s onwards. Pictures are too small. Also there are so many variations and manufacturers that sometimes is confusing. There´re crosses which have enamel also at the back. There´s another variation of the Military Merit Cross for Peace time, which has white enamel. Also two color enamel crosses. Hope it helps. Regards, Dolfek.
    15. Hello everyone, I would like your opinions about this Air Force Major (Music Band) uniform. I´m not an Air Force expert, but I have some doubts about being 100 % original. It looks to me like a put together, so I have some questions. First of all, the belt. Isn´t it an Army type? Shouldn´t be blue instead of red? Second, the collar bages. Aren´t this ones for Air Force General? About the cords, not a clue. So you opinions would be of much interest for me and very appreciated. Thanks very much in advance. Best regards, Dolfek.
    16. Give him some time. I remember once last year, trying to get in contact with him, and no answer for a week. He didn?t have any more items for sale at that moment, so I thought exactly like you. He answered me sometime later, I think he told me he was on holidays, maybe in England. Regards, Dolfek.
    17. Tim, I?ve bought many items from John Bathgate and never had any problem. Shipping is really fast to Spain. Once I email him telling that the person in change of packing in Serbia had forgotten a badge. He told me "I?m sorry, I?ll send it tomorrow morning. My mistake, I?m the one who does the packing." So, he lives in Serbia, and not in England, or maybe temporally. I?ve seen other sellers who live in Serbia and have an Ebay address somewhere else. I guess it?s something to do with Paypal address. Anyway, John Bathgate it?s a realible seller so far. Best regards, Dolfek.
    18. Wouldn?t be a period private purchase from a proud communist? Regards, Dolfek.
    19. Sorry, wrong post. That shiny red enamel confused me.
    20. The enamel work isn?t really that bad after all. Regards, Dolfek.
    21. Hitler approved the use of Spanish and Portuguese volunteers on June 24, 1941. This?s the only badge I?ve found connecting Portugal and the Nazi Germany: http://www.el-rastro.com/fascio2_portugal.htm Regards, Dolfek.
    22. Seeing the cross and box quality and the shop name on it (I?ve been in that shop many years ago) make think about a private purchase piece. Just an idea. Regards, Dolfek.
