I bought this badge from "Mr Chino Ryu-ta "of ""LES COLLECTIONNEURS"". http://alegria.ld.infoseek.co.jp/
Japanese themselves are rather well-known seller. Three years, he said that this adds is still real. Beobachterabz GWL of the pattern I would have so much rare? ? ? He is also widely sold as collectors of this site. In addition, I note that Shima fakes come out of his victims! !
This price is 2000$..
PLease opinions!!

I have to thank the very generous and thoughtful Larry Strong for the following L/58 KVK1 w/swords, a true gentleman! This is a great example that really shows the detail difference between this good one and the earlier posted bad KVK1. It now takes its place amongst my other good original KVK's and the KVM, and the bad KVK1 goes into my ever growing fakes pile! Any comments on this new addition or the other KVK's are very welcome and appreciated.
Thanks again, and three cheers for Laurence!

Hi John
What is "Obidome"?
Hi!
When she wears a kimono, the Japanese woman is a string of the decorations to wind up on an obi to bind the waist of the kimono with more.
It is Japanese traditional clothes from the times of the samurai!

Here's a 4th class sacred treasure with what I thought looked like the kanji "BI" on the back. Same kanji used in "BIJIN" (beautiful woman). Upon closer inspection I think it reads "HEI." The same character is used in ZOUHEIKYOKU (The Japan Mint).

Nice! Zui-hou-medal of 4

I've gotten a couple of different opinions on this piece. I've been told that the Wagner nameplate indicates that Wagner just did the customizing work (added hooks) to a customer's cross. I've also been told that this is an all the way Wagner piece. Any thoughts?

This one is an army special large maneuvers commemoration badge with a great relief of the imperial general headquarters on the front. Note on the back, very bottom it's dated Showa 9 nen 11 gatsu (November, 1934). It's the kanji that is used to write "11" which is a real tough to learn. The maker's decal is inside of the lid, note the great looking samurai helmet.
Umm..interest japanese medal!
Osaka-sity Kinen-medals. You are japanese medals collector!?

In Japan the problem is not forgetting history... The problem is nobody knows history. The same problem is in America too.
I agree with you

Thank you for the nice comments! Yes, one I really like. Here's some better PICS of it.
Tim
Very nice color!
This is my CEJ.I like 900 silber of SC!

Thanks Scott!
The CEJ has a heavy dark patina to it, but I just can't bring myself to clean it. I have a matching early CEJ pilot badge (J1) as well. I almost bought a plain 900 from Philipp Military a few years back until they "lost" it at one of the major European shows along with many other high value items. That one was nice and bright white. Wish I had got it instead of waiting for the price to come down a bit. Oh well.
Tim
CEJ Silber is very nice details,Tim!

Do you mean the 6th medal, with the large gate? Looks like the gate at Tiananmen, but I think the same is a Nanking too. I've also seen the design used on a 朝鮮凱旋記念 item too. I think it simply represented "Asia" at the time.
Sorry,I agree!
..NANNKINN-DAI-GYAKUSATU
to Japanese..don't forget history
