    1. Hi Team - thanks to the 30 or so people that have viewed this so far. If no-one has the actual tripod and circle, has anyone got period publications, pamphlets etc that might give some clue? Thank you!
    2. Hi All. I got this Creagh-Osborne march compass a week or so ago. I bought it because of its vintage, & its unusual form. I wasn't ready to see a device that's as big as it is at about 70mm diameter & weighs some 322 grams. I've also discovered there seems to be a small tripod for it. I posted into a couple of forums seeking any possible info & if anyone happened to have the tripod & bearing circle so we can see more detail. Anyway, here are the pics. The ones of the compass alone are mine, the pics with tripod are credited to Compasspedia. Very interested in any info &/or feedback to add to the knowledge base of this item. Thanks Rob PS - Pic next to a Verners VIII for comparison. (Sorry- Rather annoyingly, I can't "order" the pics)
    3. Hi All Sorry this has taken a while to upload some pics... Been away. Anyway, here are some pics of bothe the Wien41 detector & the transit crate. Enjoy!! Best,.>Rob PS I need help finding the search coil & poles... Anyone?
    4. Hi All I have just managed to obtain one of these in the transit case. Unfortunately it does not include the search head. I'm looking for pics of a complete set, particularly from a private collection. (I've seen the ones at WHA & the like) I'm also interested to see if there is a bag that the search head & poles goes into. The few pics I have seen of sets do not show it, so 1) it doesn't exist, or 2) troops simply "lost" it. Does anyone happen to have a search head for sale?? Pics of my one at http://fieldgear.org/pioneer.htm Any help appreciated as always!! Best,.>Rob
    5. Luftwaffe Female Radio Operators. I "found" radio, as part of the hobby fairly recently. Not often one see's female operators. No doubt a posed study, but nice to see!
