    1. One of my first tinnies ever: Erinnerung Fahnenweihe Deutscher Kameradschaftsverein ehemaliger Krieger Mold u Umg 1926
    2. just browsed through 39 pages of tinnies, very impressive all! Here's a few more, they are not in this topic yet i think, but i haven't checked all the other topics about tinnies yet, so please remove if double: Aufmarsch Winer Heimatschutz - 2 juni 1935
    3. Hello Bill, Thank you for your kind words, the shields are roughly 67 cm by 85 cm, i can't measure them properly at the moment because my collection room is being rebuild and they are safely put away behind a door for now, sorry.. I don't know how big that is in ft? The flag in the middle is exactly as big as a normal door. I'd say 2 meter by 60 cm aprox? Over the years i have found only one other shield for sale (the same as the variation in the upper left), they are quit rare. the display on the picture isn't permanent, i hope to show a picture in the future that looks exactly like the black and white picture shown in the same post, but it need's some more time. (still looking for some Schwester-uniforms ;-) ) Regards, Gaston
    4. about 2 years ago i bought a mothers cross with case from him, the case was NOT as pictured and described and with a marker recoloured on the edges, very annoying and NOT stated in the description. Later i discovered after better inspection of some of his pictures of cases he did that on more cases.... besides that the transaction went ok....
    5. and a close up to show their sizes, please excuse the poor pictures... regards, Gaston
    6. Here are a few of mine.... Hope they are not offtopic in this thread of badges.... Left and right are building shields/meeting room shields, in the middle is a flag... The idea is to built a display just like the scene in this card....I have most of the items now, but lack the space to properly display the shields
    7. details: shovel and document bear the same divison marks ;-) (the whole group didn't come together, just the sovel and the certificate), the rest is from another source.... Hope you like them, regards, Gaston
    8. with all those rare parts you start wondering why he doesn't make any more logic combinations???? Glad he doesn;t visit this forum and sees all the names and awards, or else he'd probably make combinations from real persons awards groups....
    9. yes found them too, good that those names are known, but unfortunately many people don't know it yet.... We should pm the bidders this thread and forum perhaps?
    10. Richard, nice collection! i like the 1971 tinnie a lot, normally im not into postwar tinnies, but that one sure is good looking. Here's a few more that have not been posted before i think? 1931 secend youthmeeting of the german turnerbund in Salzburg:
    11. How about the irony of Ludendorff and Hindenburg being both in command in wwI and then Ludendorff getting a Hindenburg award later? I'd not be too hapy with that if i were him? :P
    12. Very nice pictures, thank you for posting, too bad it's so far away from here, id like to visit too ;-) regards, Gaston
