Hello from hot and humid Shanghai gents. I noticed this badge on a New Zealand site sorry I can't post a photo here I'm using a Chinese laptop and can't decipher some of the keys and ‘save image’ etc so I can only post a link bear with me please. As I've already politely informed the seller about her ‘genuine’ WW1 German tank badges flaws I was concerned about this badge. I've searched this site for any reference to a Zeppelin crew badge and came up short. Here is the link http://www.trademe.c...n-502607872.htm If it is a fantasy piece, I'd like to let others know. Here is the genuine WW1 tank badge http://www.trademe.c...n-502532664.htm While I'm at it, you may as well check out her Hanseatic Cross http://www.trademe.c...n-503747874.htm Also a navy observer badge http://www.trademe.c...n-504145275.htm Genuine WW2 U-boat badge - without a U-boat http://www.trademe.c...n-504154688.htm Viking wound badge ring - seriously http://www.trademe.c...n-504143090.htm German minefield warning flag http://www.trademe.c...n-503818160.htm In fairness to the seller I bought a nice Mecklenberg Cross off her with no complaints and I've bid on her Veterans membership badge but the rest of her German items don't exactly fill me with confidence - any help with opinions that I can post on the site re these items would be greatly appreciated and thanks again gents!

Hi Paul Thanks for your input mate, can I ask you what it is about the sweat band that you don't like? I am on a steep learning curve This is the description on the site: Original summer white top visor hat with aluminum eagle and cockade. Red piped for flak. Black leather chin strap. Inside clear celuloid maker label sewn in top., "Meister Klasse". Leather sweat band front right and left side leather split, front center, right and left rear sides and rear center intact. White top age yellowing. Overall very good for a hard to find summer type visor.
