Hello Everyone, Would any of you happen to know what the correct ribbon is for the Montenegrin 1875-78 War Medal? I have been doing some research, and I have found photographs of King Nicholas (see link below), and Prince Danilo wearing this medal, and it is definitely a triangular white ribbon, with THREE red stripes, not white with TWO red stripes as it is usually found. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...ingnicholas.jpg Also, in Dimitri Romanoff's book, "The Orders, Medals, & History of Montenegro," he states that the ribbon was either white with 3 red stripes, OR a red ribbon with 2 white stripes (possibly the first one for military, and the second for civilian war supporters?). The red one with 2 white stripes looks identicle to the Austrian Order of Leopold ribbon. So, which one is correct!? Thank you very much in advance for any information you can provide! Jason L.
