Thank you gentlemen for answering my questions on this matter. My next question then becomes, what number designation is the company of Glaser and Sohne? Regards, Repadilla
Greetings, Can anyone explain why the LDO number L/58 in some publications, the maker is listed as Glaser and Sohne or Robert Souval? I have yet to get a difinative answer, and has had me puzzled for years. Thanks, Repadilla
This is interesting, that Godet was the only one sanctioned to make the O.L.And Swords. However, could other makers make the basic oakleaves? I have seen pictures of the backs of supposed period oakleaves, with different makers stampings. Very curious! Regards, Repadilla
Hello All Can any one tell me who the official makers of the knights cross oakleaves would have been? Was C.E. Juncker one of the makers? Thanks, Repadilla
Thank you gentlemen for your expertize on this cross and knights crosses in general. I see I have a lot more research to do so that may indeed find an original knights cross some day, hopefully without spending a fortune! Regards, Repadilla
