Hi I believe certain areas of France post WW1 under the versailles treaty contained German speaking areas, hence the German translation. just a guess though !! steve

I believe what you have is the paperwork/certificate that was awarded in conjunction with the Allied subjects medal WW2. Now you need to locate the medal which was issued usually unnamed. regards Steve

Hi, I have owned this for about five years ,it came direct from the family in Germany. If anyone could help in the translation it would be a great help. I was told that he also served in WW2 as a fighter pilot , not sure if he was well known ??? thanks in advance Steve

Iam presently looking at purchasing a non maker marked Meybauer style airgunners badge . Before i part with funds i would like to confirm that i am not just being paranoid about the rear shape of the crown,this seems more tent like than other examples i have seen.
