    1. Have seen them. They are nice and it is obvious that the foam is not very durable. Probably not oil resistant and prone to drying/deteriorating.
    2. Gebirgsjaegers had piles of these after WW2. Not much fun and very much a useless piece of ###### so discarded asap. At least in the northern part of norway. Fired it once just for fun but this is not an item for mountain troops. I fully understand why it is not in existence anymore kind regards Enigma
    3. Hello Modified German WW2 flare guns do exist. I have seen one that had been modified this way with a British broad arrow as well. This modification was performed to make them accept allied cartridges. Kind regards Enigma
    4. It would be interesting indeed if these mess kits were made in Russia. I am almost willing to put BOTH my hands into the fir to defend the claim that it is a standard NATO West German mess kit. I have seen huge piles of them here in Norway while we still had an army. There are thousands made and the colour is the right one for the time period of its manufacture. Kind regards Enigma
    5. This is a moderen mess kit. I believe it is German in origin. At least the predecessor is German. The two numbers you find on each part is the year it was made. 80 will be 1980. (The same on all the WW2 ones I have had as well.) I was issued the same when I was a conscript and it was definitely not WW2. It should have an internal part as well that you can attach to the handle. Kind regards Enigma
    6. Here is a picture of one of my stoves. Is this the one on the photogtraph??? Kind regards Enigma
    7. Has it been stripped of paint?? I have had a similar one in dark green colour. Kind regards Enigma
    8. I have had several of those cookeres. They are made by Gustav Barthel in Dresden. Early ones are made with a brass body. Later ones are steel. Some Waa marked. "ARARA" manufactured ones exist as well. (Might be late Bartel??.) They run on petrol and will ignite no matter how cold it is. I used one for extremely low temperatures when I was young and sporty. These cookers where also in use by alpine troopps. After ww2 Barthel made them at least for a while. I have seen post ww2 manufactured ones. That stack of tins in the rear looks familiar. I might have something similar made in plated steel. A stack that has some kind of mechanism to lock it all. I will take a look when i am at the cottage next time. (When summer comes.) I have aways wondered what it was for. Mine have a lid on top if my memory still is intact to some extent. Kind regards Enigma
    9. Here is a picture. Sorry for the poor quality but my account does not allow me any better images yet. Kind regards Enigma
    10. Hello If it has a grid/reticle it is quite certain it was military issue. It is made around WW1 and the serial number will tel you when. Kind regards Enigme
    11. Hello I have one of those headlamps with blue and clear filter. It belongs to a boxed set with "Beleuchtungsgerat fur Strichplatte". Kind regards Enigma
    12. Hello It is a 12x60 binocular manufactured for use on rangefinders with 4 meter basis. The big ones had a similar in 25x100. Optical quality is excellent. The image of my 25x100 is wide and pleasant. A bit unsharp towards the edges but very wide. The reticle on the 25x100 is adjustable in all diresctions and i suspect these smaller ones also has this feature as it is just a smaller version. Kind regards Enigma
    13. Hello! As far as I know none of these rubber covers are known to exist today. They were not delivered with the binoculars from the factory but added afterwards as far I know. Kind regards Enigma
