I think it ia a “Contemporary Medal”: Medals produced between 1915 – 1945
1. Official: Medals made by the Imperial Mint in Istanbul or other domestic and foreign commissioned manufacturers or jewelers, if there were any and if there were, whether they were able to produce any medals
2. Contemporary Medals: Medals produced between 1915 – 1945
3. Replica, copy, reproduction, etc.: Medals produced after 1945.

If they actually participated the fight they can have the sabers/swords on their orfers. Otherwise it is in Sultan’s discretion how to award these Orders or medals. Their diplomas (berat) had to be signed bt the Sultan.

Hi,
It is July 7, 1915
2 -
Thanks a lot.
After all these comments, with your help and with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's list of military awards I think it is
Austrian Militär-Verdienstmedaille mit Schwertern, II. Klassen
Military Merit Medal with with War Decoration and Swords 2nd Class
With Liman von Sanders on 31 October 1918 in Adana, Mustafa Kemal Pasha was appointed to the command of the Yıldırım Army Group, replacing Liman von Sanders.
Best wishes

Hello,
When I compare the photo of the medal now with the Russian order, they don't look similar.
I think the colored picture at the top is also not the medal on the black and white photo of the medal attached to collar of the uniform. Also, the photo was from WWI and Turkey was in war with the Russians.
I think, the medal on the collar must be a decoration of the allies, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria
I need your views please.
Thanks
Demir

Hello,
Thank you all. Yes I found it.
Sorry for not including the main photo but another photo. In the main photo, it was worn on the neck.
I found this website:
1st class
It is worn on a moiré red ribbon, the breadth of two and a half inches, double white stripes at the borders, worn over the right shoulder with the star on the left side of the chest.
2nd class
Cross of the same form, as for the first class, but of lesser magnitude, worn around the neck, on a ribbon with a width of one or two inches.
3rd class
Cross of the same form as the first two classes but worn in the buttonhole on the same ribbon with a width of five-eighths inches.
According to this website the decoration is Second-class.
Thanks again

The neck badge is Turkish 3rd Class Osmanie Order. It is not 2nd class because there is no breast star on his right chest. And it is not 4th class because it was worn on the left chest.
He also has Enveriye Dolch in the first photo.
Best wishes

Osmanlı-Türk Harp Madalya ve Nişanları
1801-1923
The Ottoman-Turkish War Medals and Orders
The digitally printed book is in Turkish and English. It has 496 pages and is hardcover. It will be a limited edition of 250 signed copies.
In the book, there are 27 Turkish war medals, two orders, information about 17 foreign Turkish war medal producers and retailers, and about 1000 color pictures of them. There is also detailed information about their precedence and wearing.
Ottoman-Turkish Medals and Insignia are indeed a completely different world in terms of aesthetics. When you learn about this subject, you understand the collectors who collect medals and orders much better and you enter their magical world. In every respect, our medals and orders are exceptionally beautiful than the medals and insignia of our peer countries. Of course, there are many valuable works on this subject written by esteemed researchers. However, Mr. Demir Erman, first with his works titled "The Turkish War Medal" and then "Ottoman Turkish War Medals and Orders", has written in a style that will provide all kinds of technical information needed by people who look at medals and orders from the collector's point of view and operate in areas of interest and work such as collectors, museums, historians, antique dealers and auctioneers, and actually ensure the survival and transfer of medals and orders to the next generations. The book titled "Ottoman-Turkish War Medals and Insignia 1801-1923", which was prepared after years of meticulous work, contains all kinds of information and visuals about the form of medals and insignia, their measurements, the metal they are produced from, the ribbons and sashes, their seniority to each other and the methods of wearing them on uniforms according to this seniority. In my opinion, this work, which is a reference book for those interested, will be the last and final one on the path paved by previous works on Ottoman-Turkish Insignia and Medals.

Hi,
It is not a Turkish award.
“Hilai'ür ahmer el frans” written on it. Meaning Red Crescent (red cross) of France (?). It may be Algerian award when it was a dominion of France.

“
Of course german made and nice ones
I am curious about the star with no enamel on it
Made for enlisted ( rumors ) or ...?
Sold out by Friedrich Sedlatzek firm”
Alexhip, there is only one type of War Medal., with no regard for title, office or rank. This is a fact, not rumor.Regards

what was the reason for the very larger Gallipoli Star? A second award or extra merit?
v/r,
Chuck
They are not Turkish made. The big one like the others is an unoffial medal made by German or Austrian companies. It has no extra meaning. Just big for showoff

Hi Demir,
The first and third examples you are sharing here appear to be the same. I have a Zimmerman 1914 EK1 with that same pin design.

Hello Jason,
Yes, you are right about the photos.
C.F. Zimmermann's name is not on the German medal makers list for WWI.I think C.F. Zimmermann produced these medals before and during WWII until it was destroyed in an allied bombing raid in the early 1940s on Pforzheim.
Thanks

Unfortunately, it was not translated, and the book is only 100 copies.

Good. So it is German made. But in this case it must bu considered replica or unofficial medal made outside of Türkiye. (The new offical name) It is rare so good for a collection
