    1. I am looking for information about Generalmajor Hand Bessel. He had the tittle of Higher Engeenier officer 2. Is that an honorary tittle or it was an actual assigment. He was in that position just before he was transferred to The Italian Front. During that period of time ( June 1942-March 1943) he had a tunic tailored in koln, so I think that command should had been closed to Koln? I am attaching a link about Generalmajor Hans Bessel. I am attachig copy of his military records with his assingments http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=25486&st=0&p=240521&hl=bessel&fromsearch=1&#entry240521 thanks Juan
    2. Hi I have a question?. If you as a soldier was attached to the General Staff. Were you allowed to wear General Staff waffenfarbe? I thinkt hat would make sense that the General Staff would need specialist to effectivery plan the war effort, thanks Juan

    4. Amazing Paul It is great that you are studyng and learning about General Staff. It is exciting and make perfect sense. You need people with specific knowlwdge in particular areas to help in the planification of a war. I though admonistrators or specialist were not allowed to be part of the General Staff. thanks for the teaching Juan
    5. Hi Don Congratulations. Kuhn and Nupnau were superb tailors. I own 2 tunics fron that tailor and they are very nicely done Juan
    6. Hi I know that Otto-Ernst Remer went from major to Generalmajor in less than a year. I was wondering if he hold the record for fastest promotion in the Wehrmacht? http://members.shaw.ca/grossdeutschland/remer.htm regards Juan
    7. Hi he was still alive in 1945. This is the rest of his records. I guess his adjudant did not helped him much. thanks Juan
    8. Hi Thanks for all the help. It had been like uncovering a mystery? He was lucky he was not demoted or expelled. In the military any transgression, like no paying rent is serious. It is contrary to the military officer's code of honor. In the other hand he evidently did not have ?old money?. Thanks Juan
