    11. There is no such thing as a Liberty Medal 3rd class. What you have is the Order of Libertys Medal for Merit 2nd class
    12. Bronze are for enlisted men and the Silver NCO´s. There is more or less a hirarchy in the Order of Liberty awards which follows the ranks although there are some exceptions
    13. The swords are for frontline soldiers that took part in combat and the only color they come in is silver
    14. A qualified guess regarding the time period is mid 20´s since he seems to be wearing a m/22 tunic with 2nd lieutenant jager battalion shoulder boards. What´s so exceptional is how he wears the ribbon for the Cross of Liberty - this is the war time issued way before they got the crosses made and awarded
    15. I see only one ribbon - the Cross of Liberty. And yes it´s a finnish officer
    16. Finally the "discovery of the year" this far arrived to me. A nice Imperial Naval BWB of the "oxydierte" with a screwback fastening device. The first Naval WB with a SB for me during the close to 30 years as a collector.
    17. Yes, it´s made of gold. Most likely a privately purchased one. As far as i know the finns don´t have any excisting number lists although theoreticly it´s possible to trace an award but it would be a wast job going thrugh the solders one by one
