    1. Hello. 2 spanges. One on the right is definately but i am not too sure about the one on the left. Opinions appreciated.
    2. Yeh definately is, thanks. I can find no record/picture of him, wearing the EK2 spange.... :speechless:
    3. Do we know/can we find out if he had the EK2 spange? Just found this, coud it have been his? :jumping:
    4. Thank you Paul C. This is where i got the information i already have. Are there an other sources i can check? Thanks Paul
    5. Hello. I am seeking information on Konteradmiral Hans-Udo von Tresckow's awards as well as a picture of him wearing said awards either on a ribbon bar or medal bar. So far i have found the following awarded to him: 1914 EK1,1914 EK2, HCX, DA25, DA12, Kuk Merit Order 3rd Kl with krieg decoration, 1918 Submarine War Badge, Turkish Eiserner Halbmond So my question is, are there any more that were awarded to him? Thank you Paul
    6. Rick, from your first comment, how was i supposed to know that?? Would he have mounted these unknown peace-time awards on his medal bar? Or just have left it at the Austrian Decoration? Can you post this picture anyway so we can have a look at him? Paul
    7. If he did have any they must not have been allowed to be worn in the Third Reich. Don't think he ahd the Silesian Eagle award......can ANYONE post the picture please??
    8. Yes, thank you. Have been doing some searching. The period that Wurmbach was on board the Emden, the ship travelled through: "(14. November 1926 bis 14. M?rz 1928): Atlantik, Kapstadt, Cocos-Inseln, Japan, Alaska, Kap Hoorn, Rio de Janeiro, Azoren, Spanien." "From the period October 1926 ? 29th March 1933 she acted as a training ship, which included five international voyages." So from this can we determine which peace-time awards he may have received? Also, can some one post a pic of the ribbon bar Rick Research described? Thank you, Paul
    9. Can anyone post pictures of this ribbon bar described above? And answer my questions? This is very interetsing. The Emden was a ship perhaps? Thanks Paul
    10. Hello Rick Research, Thank you for commenting. The world tour of the Emden? What is this? Is Emden not a port in Germany? Which countries would he have passed through? Would these be the only awards on his medal bar then, the ones you listed? Or would some of those unknown foreign awards feature on it too? How likely is it that they the foreign awards were mounted along side his German and Austrian awards? Thank you again, Paul
    11. Hello Gentlemen. I am new to this forum as of this morning. I come seeking knowledge! I have searched the internet for a picture of Admiral Hans-Heinrich Wurmbach wearing his ribbon bar and/or medal bar ordensspange. Also if anyone can help me identify which awards he posessed, that too would be helpful. I know he had both Iron Crosses 1st and 2nd class, bit after that i am at a loss. Can any of you gents help me in this search? All information is greatly appreciated, My thanks, Paul
