Good morning, Thank you all for the ID and additional info. I went to post it for sale here on GMIC but see that I am blocked from posting on the for sale forum .. probably because I called another member an idiot when he responded to a belt buckle ad by saying "they are reproductions". Too bad for you guys as I had prepared a dozen items after approximating values and ID's. Bayonets, 1800's Imperial medals, belt buckles, medallions and paper documents. eBay legal items will be here eBay listings and the buckles, and some other items will be on another forum. Sorry, I guess you can't call someone an idiot and then go have a beer with them here.....

Good morning, Thank you for the response and information. I'd like to offer it for sale here at GMIC in the "for sale" section. What would be a fair price for a buyer on a bayonet in this condition? No dents on the sheath and original knicked and chipped finish. The bayonet has surface rust, no damage to the grips and the blade tip is peened over a tad. Maybe someone needs the sheath? NO markings other than the WK&C with the knight and king above it. Note that the grips are held on by 3 rivets. No marrks on the spine and no marrks on the sheath. Thank you .. 3 pictures below

5 big pics below. Here is what I think or think I have found out. The crowned ELG is an 1894 Belgian proof and the crowned R is an 1896 Belgian proof. The backwards P with a star is a date code but I can't find it anywhere on the web to confirm. The crowned C .. I haven't a clue. What I think .... The firearm appears to be a Webley clone. Similar (very similar) guns were sold in the USA marked "FRONTIER ARMY". This example came from Germany as war booty and may have been made for the home (Europeon market) at the turn of the century. I appears to be 9mm (not confirmed, it's unmarked). Can anyone elaborate / expand or actually ID this firearm? There is no indication as to maker which from what I read, is common on Belgian revolvers from this era. Thanks

Hi, I've got this narrowed down to an Arminius model 8 made by Friedrich Pickert in the original holster. Could someone please confirm for me and also .. when was this made? Can it safely fire modern amminition. It's marked .320 cal on the top strap along with "Hammerless". 4 pictures below and thanks....

Sorry guys.. spent the week helping a neighbor patch fencing along a 1 mile stretch where elk had broken through. I've got 8 fresh pictures that I'll try and post. My dad was a house painter raising 5 kids and had no money to buy things he wished he brought back.

Yes, the auction house said that it was a 1937 WP cadet uniform and the other was a Air Force dress tuxedo .. of course, they really haven't a clue and are going on what someone told them from the estate or elsewhere. Do they have any value? The auction is tomorrow.

Morning all, Sorry 'bout the delayed response. I live in a remote area in the norwest Arizona desert and my internet is via a wireless tower relay system. It acted up yesterday and all we could do was limp around waiting 2 minutes for a page to open. We accept that as normal out here and just have to wait till it's up again. I'm off the grid to the point that I haul every drop of water that I use in. I have promised the person who made the first offer to wait till Sunday to allow him time to consult a friend in Germany. On the enameling, the Lion and the Red Eagle are 110% perfect, on the Hohenzollern award the enamel around the very circumference edge of the center enameled section is thin and the dark under metal is showing through. I've louped it and it's not damage or repair. In the mean time, I'll give you folks something to sort out .. I've got this book up on eBay and 4 days after the auction started I discovered what was written in the assignment paperwork. The book was signed out to SS-Oberstgruppenfuehrer Kurt Daluege. When I was told this, I googled his name to find out who he was (yes, a real amateur here) and read that he had a heart attack and retired in May of '43 but the date on the paperwork is November of '43. Just a case of keeping the old boss up on things?? or a book request?? .. I believe that the book never made it to him as I'm fairly sure it came out of Berlin. Yes, I'm pushing my wares here !! and giving you all a heads up as I'm going to let the auction run to completion. The current .99 price is a bargain. I'm not a collector and in several messages with Rick back and forth he has told me that he will tell the buyer all the information about the Major General to whom this bar was awarded to. All Rick wants is that the bar go to a good collector home and I couldn't agree with him more. That said, I've agreed with Rick to offer it to the forum members here. With approximate pricing and history of the bar established, it'll always be worth my asking price or more. Id like to get $3250 for the award bar or make me an offer. Shipping will require full insurance coverage and signature (must be signed for) delivery. You pick the shipping method, I have accounts with both FedEx and the USPS. FYI, I've been a Paypal member since 2000 and on eBay since 1998, never having received a negative. Hello from northern Arizona (naz) .. I have a 7 medal award bar. I suspect that it may have been awarded to a Lt. Otto Winter. Is there anyway to look up what awards Lt. Winter received?
