Finally received a different photo of the rivets. Does this alter your opinion?
Also, I was invited to a collectors home on Tuesday of this week. He has one of the most amazing collections of military items I have ever seen. The high point, and there were many, was when he brought out a Knight Cross with oak leaves, swords and diamonds. he just bought it from a vet who found it during WW2.
Again, thank you, I may just give up until I know a lot more on the subject. The following is what I know of the seller, you might know of him.

Darrell was kind enough to advise me on the “Dotted Date” DKiG I posted. Because of his expertise, I have decided not to complete the purchase. Since that time I have found another DKiG being offered from a dealer in the UK. It is listed as a “134” Otto Klein and the asking price is $2500 usd. I have attached photos, any advice or recommendations, since I don’t have any experience with the DKiG?
Thank you for your reply, could you be more specific about the 'accusations, theories and vendettas', I'm new at this and would like to learn.
Thank you again,
Cliff
I have been offered this German Cross in Gold for $1500 usd. It seems to good to be true. Any opinions?
Maker is: C F Zimmermann, stamped on the underside of pin is "20"

I have attached a front view of the Cross on this posting, I will post a back view on another posting since the file is too big to upload
