    4. Hi Timo. I agree with you. Photo is rather good. One extra argument. Look. The girl had an earring. It was impossible. The females joined army during WWI were not to wear such things with uniform. Sergey
    5. IMHO it is a sort of masquerade. Look. The uniform isn't the right size for the girl. May be it is her brother uniform. I have saw a few same photos.

    14. Hello Linas. I'm very susprised. Your first message. I have what appears to be an Imperial Russian-made Polish Order of the White Eagle Breast Star. Based on the photos alone, the leading expert on Polish-related medals believe it is genuine and valued between $10-$20,000 - but he will not do a formal appraisal because he is in the US and I am in France, and he does not want to take the risk of this Star getting lost in the postal . Your last message. Keep in mind, MY expert, with over 60 years of experience and respected around the world as the #1 expert on Polish militaria believes MY Breast Star is a Polish 18th Century, pre-1795 version. He NEVER thought it was Russian. IMHO Your expert changes his mind rapidly. I never said "I am a expert in Polish decoration". But look at picture of White Eagle Breast Star XVIII Centure ze zbiorów Biblioteki Narodowej w Warszawie. Rgds Sergey
    15. Hi. Look this links. This is the original complect of order . Made by Keibel workshop (St. Peterburg, cirka 1860) ‘Empire’ Auction House This is collection of images of star of order from the time of Russian Empire. Link This is collection of images of star of order from the time of Provisional Government (1917) Link The photo of Pawel Unterberger, decorated with White Eagle order Ptoto
    16. Hi. IMHO The Star you show is faked one. Look. This is a Russian star of order. And this is Polish star (circa 1920)
    17. OK. It gives a hypothesis. If the NCO has a III (Roman figure) on his shoulderstrap, he may served in Russian Expedition Corp in France or Thessaloniki during WWI. Look here Best regards. Sergey
    18. Look at picture of 45 dragoon Severski regiment (Savag 1894) The color of shoulder straps is doubtful. The raspberry pink shoulder straps was given to riflemans.
    19. Sure without. The swords to Orders (Vladimir,Anna,Stanislav) were given only to participentes of battle and it could be written directly in document. Best regards.
    20. The left one is a NCO (unter-officer). The second one is a private. Could you zoom the shoulderstrap of NCO to get more information.
    21. IMHO it is an original cockade of private of Russian imperial Army. May I ask you to shaw back of it. Sergey W.
    22. It is a wrong date. Shoulder straps were introduced in Sovet Navy in 15/02/1943. Sergey
    23. No one Dragoon regiment with black plum on parade helmet has a commendation ribbon with text ended "...in 1904 and 1904". At least in 1909.
