    1. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.
    2. Some wonderful medal bars Thanks for sharing them.
    3. Here is a scan from an original Paul Kust catalog printed before 1914 showing their offereing of the Oak spange.
    4. Several years ago I had a chance at one on ebay and passed ofer it because I did not understand what it was :banger:
    5. Joel, Thanks. Mine is really in just above average condition. They can be found at fairly reasonable prices. It just takes a liitle patiance to find one that has'nt been messed with. Chris, Wouldn't that be "25th" reserve regiment?
    6. Thank you all for the feedback :jumping:
    7. Thanks for the additional info. and thank you for your help on the Pick-forum. This has been a great learning experience and a lot of fun.
    8. Stephen, The original liner is still there however it is in VERY fragile condition. A couple of the ears are ripped. No draw string ect. The original leather wedges for the wappen are missing. The only marking is a 25? on the rear visor. It could be just a 25 or it could be part of a 252. 253, 259. Any help with this would be great.
    9. Yea--I've wanted one of these for years. There is nothing really noteworthy about this one except for the great detail in the front plate. That's what sold me on it and the price wasn't too bad.
    10. This just arrived. A M1895 Prussion Infantry enlisted man's helmet.
    11. Worried because we spend too much time obcessing over these or worried because we can only match 3
    12. I could only match 3 as well. I think maybe Steve or Mica could do much better.
    13. Congratulations on a very nice piece of history. :jumping:
    14. "nothing spectacular" I beg to differ. This cross is exactly the type of cross I love to come across. Dark core (no paint) and the detail of the crown is awesome. Being a not to common maker, 925 silver and engraved is just icing on the cake.
    15. I learn something new everyday :jumping:
    16. I have seen the CD 800 in one line or the CD over 800 but stamped on the pin is a new one for me.
