    1. Hi, thanks for the feedback. I forgot about all the different groupings etc you would find. One thing is for sure, whatever the group was it would be expensive, and probs mega expensive for high kill count and for famous battle etc etc.
    2. Hi, I was wondering what a sniper group would go for these days, does anyone know?
    3. That is very well put together Wild Card, and who knows you may be correct. I like those two orders you show, its great researching these orders, as you just never know what your going to get! I think its going to take someone who is an expert in the history of the Soviet WW2 awarding regulations etc to shine a light on this subject. Or you will have to go with the unit, date, area to know for sure.

    5. Yes, it is strange, I am very happy that I have one from Kursk in my collection, as I don't think I will be as lucky again.
    6. This is the first Kursk award that I have seen myself. Paul Schmitt said to me that for some reason that he does not know awards from Kursk are very rare, with the amount of troops involved in the battle you should expect to see more popping up, but you don't? This is one of the main reasons that I do research, as you just never know what your going to find out!
    7. Thanks lads for the thumbs up on this one. I really look forward to getting the research back, as you never know what you are going to get! This one will be hard to beat. Kai
    8. Here are some pics of the Red Star, it is in beautiful condition and all original enamel screw post etc.
    9. Hi, I have a fully researched Red Star in my collection that was awarded from the battle of Kursk. I will post up pictures of the Order and the russian docs when I can get the time. For the time being here is the translation that was done by Paul Schmitt and all my research is done by Alexei merezhko. Well, I was over the moon when this came back after the translation. 10. Welcome to the forum, and that is a very nice original you have there!
    11. Very nice collection that you are puting together there, looks like your as hooked as I am on these beautiful Orders! Kai
    12. Excellent piece of work! Thank you very much for taking the time to do this for the collector community! Cheers, Kai
    13. I purchase from fellow collectors when I can, dealers are always the last resort. Paypal is a must these days for Internet purchases, you have protection with paypal when using their service. Beware of sending bank transfers to unknown people, there is allot of scams going on at the moment. And once your money arrives in their account you can not get it back if the deal goes wrong! Cheers, Kai
    14. Hi, looks like you managed to find some nice pieces there. I can't really comment on the award docs as I am still learning with this hobby! That Nevsky looks nice, I have been looking for a nice one myself for a while now for my own collection! Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Kai
    15. Those are some very nice Navy badges, great info on them also!
