christerd,
I have been lucky to find a non-combatant Oldenburg FA Cross also. I have only seen one and picked it up at a show a few years ago. Here it is, hope you like it.

Hello to all,
I have the Saxon Merit Order on this bar listed as a 2nd class. But after seeing the pics in this thread I am not sure. Can someone please confirm what I have?
Thank you

Hello to everyone,
Can someone please give me more information on this individual? The person is Wilhelm Von Heine who served in a Hannover regiment. I have attached some pics of the medal bar I just picked up.
Hello to everyone,
I got this bar at the SOS. I like the Oldenburg Merit Cross 2nd Class of the Oldenburg Chamber of Trade and Commerce. Just wanted to share with everyone.

Marcin,
I really like your idea, I am also an Imperial collector and would be interested in having a collection of must have reference books. I use one book on a regular basis.
Deutsche Orden und Ehrenzeichen 1800-1945 by Jorg Nimmergut. (In German only)
It is an excellent resource for identifying orders and medals and giving you a good idea what they cost.
Hopes this helps.

Hello to everyone,
I have a co-worker whose Grandfather served in the 750th Railroad Operating Battalion in World War II. I am looking for information on where this unit served in the European Theater of Operations. I have included a picture of the unit insignia. The co-worker has no information on what his Grandfather, so any information would be helpful.

Thank you to everyone who has commented on this bar. The information was very useful. I do not know to much about the 1914 clasp, I will defer to more knowledgeable people on the clasp. This is the first time I have seen it and picked up this bar because of it.
