    1. A classic pose of A.H on the right, but have never seen the the picture on the left. Is it a print or did you have an artist in the family?

    3. So nice to see such a wonderful intact grouping to a highly decorated member of the Whermacht, shiggert. I take it that your Grandfather survived the war? Here is your Grandfather on the lists of DKiG recipients.
    4. Indeed. Seeing that the white cross was issued to non-combatants (red cross for combatants) the percent of elements such as medical, religious etc would have been very low in the "Legion"

    11. Good morning and welcome to the forum, devincu. I have to say, you certainly know how to make an entrance. WOW! The items that turn up in attacks....It never ceases to amaze me. Any "SS" related items are hard enough to find, but a uniform to a member of the "Reichsführung SS" (RFSS) with the provenance that it has.... I hope your friend realizes what a rare find this is. Thank you so much for taking time to get the camera out and posting the items.
    12. Deutschnationaler Handlungsgehilfen-Verband (DHV) Reading up on them, It would seem that this union was anti everything...anti-Semitic, anti-democratic, anti-liberal…dunking biscuits in a cup of tea, no doubt…it must have been fun at the meetings.
    13. Very nice...and as hopefully a point of interest... the 1st class by Meybauer.
    14. Yes, please...get that camera working!
    15. It’s not often that I use the term, “mint”……but.

    17. It was awarded to those whose actions were deemed to be in the furtherance of the luftwaffe war effort but not directly involved in military operations. A good example would be those awarded to members of the "Werk West" team at Peenemünde who were involved in the development of the V1/V2 rockets; scientists, designers, technical support staff etc. Hanna Reitsch also received her award for her work at Peenemünde as test pilot on the Messerschmitt Me 163 program.
