    1. Instituted by "Der Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring" for Outstanding Achievements in the Technical branch of the Luftwaffe.
    2. Cased award for the 100m sprint at the annual two day sports event held by “S. A. Gruppe Niederrhein” in 1939.
    3. A very nice example of one of the commemorative plaques given by “Deutscher Luftsportverband” (DLV) for various flight competitions held in pre-war Germany. 4. An early example with heavy nickel plating by E. Ferdinand Wiedmann.
    5. Designed by the firm W.E Peekhaus, and submitted for approval on the 19th July 1940, the badge was finally instituted on the 10th January 1941.
    6. If you're going to buy an RO/AG you can't go far wrong with a Deumer. The early ones.... wonderful quality. Just make sure there no repairs... catch etc.
    7. It is in the condition that it was found. Just a wipe with a cloth and put on a shelf.
    8. An early example in tombak, Nick. Very nice. Another for comparison.
