I started collecting these but stopped, I had 3 until last year when I bashed em out on Ebay. It is not actually a jewel but it is an American Watch Fob. It is representative of the original owners degrees, this particular man Mr Codington was a particularly keen Mason . As has been mentioned he was a member of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite, York Rite and the Shrine. I must say that is one of the best examples I've seen especially with the extra fold-outs covering the Teutonic Cross, although it might orginally have had a further dangle on the bottom. You could expect around $200 - $300 US for it on the bay.

Yes there is an element of intuitive reading required for example "Grand Lodge" in most languages translates to "Large Cabin" Mike

Bro. Richard, Just as a safety-net suggestion. If the Management should pull the plug, I would be more than happy to start a new Forum at TFM to take up the slack. The only real difference would be the inability to post images direct to the Forum but that can be overcome by image hosting. Mike
