    1. Hi there sorry for the delay! It's not Masonic at all. However, it looks very much like he was a member of the Ancient Order of Druids. Mike
    2. Hi Roeland, here's a good place to start: http://www.vrijmetselarij.nl/
    3. I started collecting these but stopped, I had 3 until last year when I bashed em out on Ebay. It is not actually a jewel but it is an American Watch Fob. It is representative of the original owners degrees, this particular man Mr Codington was a particularly keen Mason . As has been mentioned he was a member of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite, York Rite and the Shrine. I must say that is one of the best examples I've seen especially with the extra fold-outs covering the Teutonic Cross, although it might orginally have had a further dangle on the bottom. You could expect around $200 - $300 US for it on the bay.
    4. Is there something on it that particularly identifies it as GOdF? Mike
    5. Sorry if I'm being a bit dim here, wouldn't be the first time I don't really understand what you're trying to do but you might be better off just compiling links to each of the Provincial Grand Lodge websites, most of which have their subordinate Lodges listed. Mike
    6. Yes there is an element of intuitive reading required for example "Grand Lodge" in most languages translates to "Large Cabin" Mike
    7. Long way around but it should work. Scan the text into a word or Rich text document. Copy a block of text and past it into the translator here: http://world.altavista.com/tr This is what I do when approving foreign Websites for inclusion on our Website. Mike
    8. Bro. Richard, Just as a safety-net suggestion. If the Management should pull the plug, I would be more than happy to start a new Forum at TFM to take up the slack. The only real difference would be the inability to post images direct to the Forum but that can be overcome by image hosting. Mike
    9. I have only come across variations of the symbols engraved inside and one OES ball. I'd like a pyramid one!! Yes you're right women seem to find these particularly attractive, I've had to promise one to my mum and another to swmbo luckily they prefer the modern all-gold ones. Mike
    10. Here's another one, it is only 22mm long by 16mm (excluding clasp) across when opened. I started collecting them about a year ago Mike
    11. I didn't see any of these mentioned so I thought I'd share some of mine with you: Mike
