    1. Any info of where this medals are now? I managed to get order for military valour 1. class (Orden za vojne zasluge 1 reda). And I would like to get a few more if not the whole set.
    2. For orders made in Yugoslavia that are numbers we can assume that the lower the number the earlier it was awarded (with some deviations but number 170.000 was awarded later than 10.000). What about the few orders that were made in Soviet union e.g. Order of the partisan star. For example Order of the partisan star II. Class, during the war Soviets made 8500 orders and send them to Titos HQ. From 8500 only 1500 was awarded, but as you have awarding documents stating serial numbers form 250 to 2500 we can assume they were not awarded in the ascending order. I have in my collection a group of documents form the same person. He was awarded partisan star II. Class no. 2300 in December 44 and another one numbered 870 in may 45. So 5 months later completely different serial number. I assume that they send different batches form Titos HQ to other countries HQ, and each local HQ or unit started to award its fighters. For example orders numbering 100-200 were send to Serbia and orders 500-600 were send to Slovenia, so we can have order number 121 and order 561 awarded on the same day. Does any one know any literature or have any information about what serial numbers went to witch country?
    3. I would say this is also a ribbon bar of Branko Mamula, but the latest one, as he recived Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour in 1985 and a combination of these medals is very rare. Some interesting examples of ribbons bars I have. Figure 1: Different types of reverse, an interesting example made for quick fastening / changing. the one on the bottom is an interesting example of adding new orders, sewn at home ribbon. Figure 2: An interesting way of assembling from individual metal ribbons Figure 3: Old model, composed of 1 + 2 + 2 and not 3 in a row as prescribed. Figure 4: first - interesting combination, Order of the Republic, Order of Labor, 2x Order of Merit and 2 lower medals. Probably a non-commissioned officer who then went into civilian civil service. The second - a NCO member of the mission in Sinai. The third interesting combination is a medal for war virtues as the lowest medal and the Order of the National Army of the 2nd degree as a very high decoration. Figure 5: The old type of ribbons, National hero Boško Šiljegović ended the war as the political commissar of the 4th Army. Figure 6: Interesting pronouns, in military service for at least 10 years, but not a single medal winner, probably a soldier or junior non-commissioned officer. Figure 7: National hero Janko Sekirnik ended the war as commander of the Slovenian XIV. division. Figure 8: Only 3 ribbons of rather high orders, perhaps he did not wear other decorations? Figure 9: my humble colection
    4. I have a few first type diplomas for awarded orders. There are 2 variations. First that say in the name of "na predlog vrhovnog komandanta..." english: " on the proposal of the Commander-in-Chief" and second "na predlog predsednika vlade FNRJ" "on the proposal of the Prime Minister of the FNRJ". My question is what was the difference or what was the rule for one or the other type, as Tito was the prime minister as he was the army commander in chief. Is the difference maybe if the award was beeing given to an army person the citation was by the Commande in Chief, but if the civilian was awarded the citation was by the Prime Minister? Does any of you have any more informations? I my collection I have 2 documents (one no rank, one civilian position "rukovodioac" or in bad translation political leader )that are given by the Prime minister and 6 (4 with army ranks and 2 with no army rank- one for national hero and one for order for bravery) by the Commander in Chief. I dont have enough diplomas to be certain of these finding.
    5. Group of Slovenian major general, ended the war as a major in the Titos HQ. Medals with all the documents, his CV, applications for promotions, applications for retirement form the army in 1966, letters from the war (one leter dated 15.4.44 Drvar, he fought in the offensive 10 days later) etc... Unfortually 2 medals are missing Bulgarian order of war merit 4th class (he was chif comuniction officer for bulgarian 1st army and partisan HQ) and Order of Brotherhood and unity 1t class. And there are no boxes. As he was one of the first communist in Slovenia and was arround all the later leaders during the war and was with them on the same political courses, his carrer stopped after the war. Maybe because he did not have highschool education or maybe because he was chif of the supply at the HQ (intendantska sluzba). And i dont think suppy services neede or had a lot of generals. He recive his general ran with retirement from the army.
    6. Hello all, A friend remind me of these topic. Few weeks ago I got the same type. Order for military merit 1st class with 6 torches. It has the same features, 2 holes in 10 and 4 position. And the same 3 stamps (just in different order ) I have never seen stemps "K" or stamp "925" for silver on any of Yugoslav orders Order measures are: Star: 66.9mm other 1st classes (5 torches) I have are 69-70mm Torch: 44,7mm other 1st classes (5 torches) I have are 45,3-45,6mm Sword: 45,6mm other 1st classes (5 torches) I have are 45,5-45,7mm weight: 61,5g other 1st classes (5 torches) I have are 74,5-76,2g Does anybody know more about these type of order or these stamps? At the look of it it does not appear to be a copy, if it is a copy why put so much trouble into stamps and all the details just to make it 20% lighter and 5% smaller?

    10. I also had the honour to be a part of these reenactment, I and my father were a part of Czech grup Gardecorps as the French young guard. As i usually reenact 1900-1950 era these was an amazing event, new tactic, new war doctrine, new commands... you can not describe the filing of march in a group, cavalry charges and musket fire... once in a lifetime event... Here is a short video i made with pictures i was able to take between the battle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jOVMkNePV4 also few pictures, Emperor before the battle, cavalry fight between france and the allies, attack on our square and me and my father known as Bovec1313 here on the forum.

    12. Is there just 2 variants of the Order of the Red Banner or 3. In my boosk i found that type 2 variant 1, has Mondvor mint mark and serial numbers cca. 20.000 to 21.100. And variant 2 has mint mark Monetny Dvor stamped separately serial ranges 21.400 to 82.300. But lately i heard some debates that there are 3 variants of type 2. What is the diferences and what is the serial number range? Here is my type 2 number 49.795, is it variant 2? or variant 3 as i was told lately? Thanks for the help.
