    1. Interesting that in the magazine photo, the bottom arm of the Swaz looks trimmed off.
    2. Back on the topic of fruit salad, were recipients of various medals and ribbons required to wear them? I ask because I've known a VN vet who refuses to wear certain ribbons awarded to him. Personal issues he will not discuss. And also after researching my Dad's ribbons, when he retired, he was entitled to awards composing three rows, yet only wore three ribbons.

    4. There have been 19 men who have received the Medal of Honor twice. Of these, 5 Marines during WWI received both the Army and the Navy Medal of Honor for the same military action. I was not aware that D. MacArthur won the medal twice??
    5. These photos are just mouth watering. Really excellent pics and subject matter!!
    6. Nice recovery Dan. Good to avoid political discussions.
    7. Kevin, Excellent work!! Thanks for posting these.
    8. Here is a one piece sterling badge that is just beautiful. The wreath is very delicate in hand.
    9. Please post your CIB's here, especially any variations to include cloth. I'll start with a sterling two piece.
    10. WOW!! Nice work Steve.
    11. Nice Dolf. They are coming out with some pretty detailed models in metal. Some of the Dragon 1/72 ready made kits are pretty impressive.
    12. Ron, Outstanding model!! The weathering is really excellent. Thanks for posting.
    13. Variations of the 95th Infantry Division:
    14. That's a sweetheart for sure!! Great to see them in this condition.
    15. If any of you folks are interested in US Tank Battalions, this is a great book for research and collectors. It lists them all. http://cgi.ebay.com/US-Army-Tank-Battalion...1QQcmdZViewItem
    16. ^^^ We have some more folks here now, so how about those work areas??
    17. Nice. I think you are luring me into the iron coffins. I'll just try and pretend they are tanks without tracks.
    18. Hi Guys, I think both your projects would be fun. I'd be interested in the painting aspect of small figures. I don't think it would matter too much about what type of figure, but I do WWII myself and work almost entirely in 1/72 scale. If you looked at my models, you probably noticed no figures. I'd like to remedy that and add some "life" to my work. I think the flak tower would be cool, and you're right, it will be BIG when completed. Any kind of scratch building project would I think be appreciated by the readers.
    19. Hi Gordon, Very nice! Is this the boat from "Special Navy"?? Thank you for posting it. It's only fitting you should have the first post here.
    20. Over $1400.00 with 6 days to go. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 A real one for sure.....
