BURGERHAUS
[attachmentid=51416]Gents This little bugger is very hard to see no less try to interpret. I am hoping one of our esteemed German literati could give me a hand. Perhaps it is time to upgrade my eyewear too. Have a great weekend. BURGERHAUS
[attachmentid=51432]Here is the reverse. The cut-out area may indicate post-war but I don't know for sure. Perhaps a Mother's helper? An aux pair? I don't know but it is a pretty badge in the Frauenschaft vein. I am going to put it on the tinnie thread and try to get a response from Pete Wood. He may know. Take Care Robert Edited August 31, 2006 by Scowen
Guest Rick Research
Anything with the No-No word "Reichs" in it wouldn't have been used after 1945.
Gold Party Pin Guy
Huesken says it is indeed the "Reichsmuttersdienst" - an NSV initiative. See: http://www.german-militaria.de/details/e13501.html
