The Gau Berlin badge came onto the scene in 1936 instituted by Goebbels.The Gau Berlin came in two grades, gold and silver. 665 silvers were thought to have beenawarded, 41 being to women. For the Gold grade only around 30 were awarded.The reverse was serial numbered and maker marked Lauer of Nurnberg which as far as I known was the sole maker of this badge.Close up: Edited June 19, 2005 by Raz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
