webr55 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) And that seems to be a Lübeck hanging down from his buttonhole: Edited July 13, 2022 by webr55
Stijn David Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Hello, I can't confirm Urbach right now => the Letter "U" is still to be listed. But soon my friend, real soon Great picture for sure, thanks for showing Cordial greetings,
Guest Rick Research Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Hey Stijn-- look what I just found (again):New Years Greetings mailed in Eisenach 31.12.34. No name. Addressed-- with no salutation to even GUESS at any possible connection--to a family named FREES. (No Frees in the GSF3bX roll)
Christian J Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I like what I found recently much better.... I'll guess it won't be affordable. You wouldn't be into the game?
Stogieman Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Nope, last time I looked the bidding was close to 5K..... USD. T0o much for me !!But the only example of a GK with swords I have seen in many years.
Stogieman Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I never checked dimensions. It's being advertised incorrectly. Hopefully others who are bidding have caught this? Now it seems even higher for what it is? Very rare as commander wX as well.
Komtur Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 As far as I know, the Grand Cross and the Commander have the same size so they are not to distinguish(except the bigger Grand Crosses for "F?rstlichkeiten"). This item is offered in a case of a Commander with X, so it should be a Commander ...With regards, Komtur.
Christian J Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Seems the seller wasn't pleased with the results. It now has an buy it now option for 13 000 Euros!
Stogieman Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Well, that's pretty amazing. I thought the price was outrageous at the bid. eBay will take ~1300- Euro from him for fees!
