I am still at work, sneaking a bit of time on the 'pooter!

The cap is piped for HG, so has the standard white piping for HG, but his rank gives it away on the sweat diamond,

'Kan. Herz' Kan. would be the abbreviation for Kanonier or Artilleryman, so he is 'Artilleryman Herz'.
