I always liked this one. it was vet aquired, funny thing is the edges are not folded back, just sewn along the edges. Someone once said it is repaired, but I have seen imperial ones with the same sewing along the edge, not folded back.

  I recall I did the same on hot days at Old Fort York back in 1973-74 - wool uniforms, and at 90F they would let you take your backpack off. Michael
