GdC26
Nr. 4. Trust you have all noticed the police uniforms with LW eagle, the Prussian opolice style standarte, and the police helmets? And of course, the LPG GG cufftitle, which appears to be the same for all ranks (some books indiate there may have been differences in materials used for officers and EM/NCO?s). GdC26
Thanks Paul, thanks Nesredep. They are from an album of someone who served in the unit right around the time the unit was transferrred into the Luftwaffe. About 75% of the pics show the unit as part of the Landespolize, 25 % show it as part of the early LW. I have a few additional LPG GG pics from other sources as well. GdC26
Some further pics from the LPG GG/ early RGG album, as promised. Some pics are enlargements of parts of the original photo?s in the albus, so quality is not always top notch. But they do show seldom seen details of the uniforms of LPG GG. Enjoy Regards,Sandro
