Great bar, CR! I remember when you pulled that one out of your bag at the convention. I'd say, between that and the screwback Wound Badge - you did pretty well for yourself in Houston! Great meeting you too...

One odd thing about this is that the SEHO is 800 marked at the 6 o'clock position. I think this is the first I have seen. Does that date it as an early piece or as non Saxon made? I am used to the 990 mark.

I'd say it is not without hope to eventually be able to put a NAME to this career NCO.

The Prussian MEZ2 to a Saxon for China, along with the WW1 Saxon Honor CrossX should prove the keys, if Saxon MEz2s can be traced.

The Coburg Rolls also exist, but I don't have any for the medals before 1911.
