As I am in the long winded process of re-cataloging parts of my collection I thought that I'd showcase some ODM's.

May I remind you all that I retain copyright over all the images posted in this thread.

I apologise if in a few instances I may opt to blank out some serial numbers (or parts thererof) but I feel that whereas information and notes should indeed be shared amongst genuine collectors, it is sometimes necessary to retain certain details to oneself as fakers of high end soviet ODMS are only a click away. I know some of you may disagree but I nevertheless count on your understanding.

I´m sorry to only comment now only ten years later, but this must have been posted right after my departure.

Jim, thanks for the pictures. Thats a fantastic collection of OGPW´s and the quality of your pictures is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

    • Brian: First, let me say that I always enjoy reading your blog and your "spot on" comments.  Another fine topic with such a broad expansion into so many different facets.  I had watched this a week or two ago and when reading your blog, it reminded me of this great quote.   There is a great video on the origins of "Who was Murphy in Murphy's Law"   Anyway, about mid way through this video, there is this great quote and I think it sums it up quite well to your statem
