Stijn David Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Hallo Friedrich, Welcome towards the club Cordial greetings,
Komtur Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Hallo Kapitular,a warm welcome from me too with regards, Komtur. You still know this pic of Wilhelm von der Lippe, but this is a good chance to add it here:
Guest Rick Research Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Welcome indeed!!! Let me be the first of the Awards Roll "Gnomes" to ask:what rolls survive in Oldenburg, how good are they for information (on a scale of Lippe-Detmold's PERFECT: to Mecklenburg-Strelitz's INSANELY USELESS)--and can we HOPE that you are transcribing everything there is for publication? Rick Lundstr?m
VtwinVince Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Interesting that Wilhelm's EK 2 is turned around, and is that a Stoffabzeichen next to his EK 1? Welcome to the club.
Kapitular Posted September 29, 2007 Author Posted September 29, 2007 Hello "Roll Gnome"thank you for your welcome. What a wonderful name! I like it very much! The rolls of oldenburg are very different. Some do not exist, but many of them you can use in the "Staatsarchiv " in Oldenburg. There are still several rolls in Eutin in the "Hausarchiv" of the family. To use it, there is a speial permission necessary. At the moment I am listing all members of the houseorder PFL. More than 6000 names and dates, I have nearly finished the half of them. Actually I am still a little bit ill, but this work will be coninued next year. In the meantime everyone should feel free to contact me with all questions, as far as Oldenburg and of course the lifesavingmedals are concerned.Friedhelm Beyrei
Kapitular Posted September 29, 2007 Author Posted September 29, 2007 is that a Stoffabzeichen next to his EK 1? Welcome to the club. No "stoffabzeichen". Somebody tried to add the Friedrich August cross first class on the negative.Kapitular
