Something new in my collection-in hand it looks much better than at this pics.So what is so interesting for me that I had to buy another KMST pinback? Right,the catch doesn't have the secure mechanism.....not often seen before and so I had to take it.....simply because of the catch.

Yes, I saw you win this one. I was asked to evaluate it and came to the same conclusion that it had never had the catch-lock applied. An interesting variant and finally, some decent pics of it!

I know you have all the KMST major variations -do you have a maker marked heavy pinback? Or the stamped ones(not the relief ones)? It looks like these crosses become an own collecting field...

No, I don't have all the variations - I wish! Eg I do not have this type without the catch-lock. Still looking for the "twist-back" like GW used to own.

Not sure what you mean by "heavy pinback" - the one with the "clip" assembly? Yes, I do have a stamped one ("standard" pinback hardware). Have some unmarked ones as well.

Here's a heavy one-have a look at the different pin.The regular pinback with the pin lock has a weight of 14g.The heavy variation 18g!

I wouldn't have done it if the weight difference in hand wouldn't have been so obviously! This is the only heavy one I've seen so far-so many KMST Variations to go...and just minimum chances to fill the gaps in the collection
