Peter, This is really agreat addition to your collection. A difficult piece to find. I'd like to see a picture of the back please. I agree with you about the Iron Crown. A really superb design. Now, I spend my days digitally restoring them and colouring them. This is a Major belonging to the 31. Landwehrinfanterieregiment in Teschen. Collecting has been quite slow this summer, so I have to present some of my older medals until new treasures drops in. -----------------~~--------------------- As my great grandfathers grave was moved after 50 years in 1968 to another location, my grandfather who was present removed these three medals from the remains.
