Robin Lumsden Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) This is a more recent example .................. but it shows the work that goes into making these things. Edited September 8, 2012 by Robin Lumsden
Erich S Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Nice Robin, here is my Reiter which is also one of my favorite pieces.
Wessel Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Just as the Reiter is undervalued by TR collectors, so is 'Der Alte Fritz'...here he is in typical pose with his two trusty greyhounds.
J Temple-West Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 I awoke this morning to find this wonderful birthday present under the tree…. By Prof TH Kärner Model No 1: "Junger Dackel, liegend". Many thanks to my dearest Rachel.
J Temple-West Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 Model No 1 now joins model No 2 in the collection.
Scowen Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Congratulations John. Now you just need mama...... Cheers Don
J Temple-West Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 Nice, Don. One of the harder pieces to find.
J Temple-West Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 Another addition arrived this morning in the form of this ‘Allach’ model 44 “Junger hale, liegend”
J Temple-West Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 Only two models were produced through the collaboration of more than one artist during the existence of the ‘Allach’ factory, this being one of them. Prof. Karner and Franz Nagy were the artists involved, hence the unusual marking ‘K. N.’ above the ‘Allach’ maker mark.
J Temple-West Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 ...and then there were three. Very nice.... I only wish I could afford one from this set! Will have to start saving.
