Do you want I move the second one into this thread ?jacques

Stogieman
Hi Jaques. Wonderful fotos. I am surprised with the number of SC's on those uniforms and struck by the fact that not one of them has a LC PAB!

kunsho
Very interesting picture. Of course because named, but he is wearing the SC on the wrong side, and he doesn't wear his LC Pz Badge that he got during his turn in Spain . Do you want I move the second one into this thread ?jacques...I think he is wearing the SC on the wrong site only for the photo. He has never received the LC Pz Badge, because Karl Wald was assigned as as a car - driver (among others for Admiral Canaris), Pz.Rgt 5 in this time. Yes, please move the other (Karl Wald here Pz.Rgt. 8) picture in this thread...Here a pic of Karl Wald "at work" in Africa, El Alamain (Tank Commander of a type IV tank):

Bob Hunter
Excellent photos, Jacques, thanks for posting. Did the award of the WWII version of the Panzerkampabzeichen rule out the wear of the unique badge worn by von Thoma's panzer troops? Jacques
Excellent photos, Jacques, thanks for posting. Did the award of the WWII version of the Panzerkampabzeichen rule out the wear of the unique badge worn by von Thoma's panzer troops? No, I think he entitled to wear both badges. I never saw war period pics of him showing his badges. jacques
