Taz
thanks eddie again i have a few of this and other so this is soviet stile best regards gregThat's right Greg, the only difference being that there is a red star on the Soviet ones and as seen on your example, the Cuban state emblem above the white class shield.Cuban Paratrooper badges were soviet made and i suspect these too.Regards Eddie.

Stogieman
These are usually referred to as Combined Arms Badges. They were issued in 3 Classes. You can find the same basic design for Soviet, Cuban & Bulgarian soldiers. There may be others I have not seen. Here's a nice image of the Cuban 2.Kl. badge:
Stogieman
And here's the complete Bulgarian Set for comparison. All of these may be of Soviet manufacture...

WJT
Any difference between the silver and the black tanks besides color?
Taz
Any difference between the silver and the black tanks besides color? Hi WJT, As far as i am aware of the colour of the tank has no specific meaning. It certainly has nothing to do with the class of the badge, possibly a different place of manufacture now that the Soviet Union no longer exists. Paul R
Cuban militaria is not easy to find. I found a great Cuban guards badge a few years back. Great stuff shown here. Lets keep posting your Cuban badges.
