(Secret) Police Medals on the Theme: Preserve & Protect

Left to right--

1) the original Soviet M1950-56 Medal for the Preservation of Public Order intended for normal civil police

2) Romanian clone, "RPR" 1953-65 apparently only given to secret police

3) Bulgarian clone, "MVR" M1969 with 1st type crest (changed in 1971)-- for ? civil or secret police

4) Romanian clone, "RSR" completely altered design 1968-89 succeeding #2

5) PDR Afghanistan, name uncertain, but it seems to live in this series

I think these count. From Poland: Medal for Safeguarding Public Order 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class.
