Richard Sysum Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 (edited) Hello Everyone I have had this badge a few years and I bought it on the understanding that the hook had been replaced.From the image below can anybody confirm this or do they have any other ideas.The hook is made from round stock and is soldered onto a small plate before being applied to the badgeBest Regards Richard. Gordon Williamson Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 Richard,Its certainly not the regular Schwerin hook for a Tombak badge. Both round wire and flat wire retaining clips are soldered directly to the back of the badge, so if this is a genuine badge it must indeed have been repaired.
