Ed_Haynes
Seeing awars from friendly nations on Soviet uniforms is hardly unusual, though it is unusual to see them on the correct ribbons. Guest Rick Research
It always amazes me when the attesting person (Colonel Bakanov, Commander of Unit 10277) is way junior to the subject--Colonel General of Artillery Leonid Mikhailovich Goncharov."Photographed in January 1983."The only one I recognize is third from last-- North Vietnamese Friendship Decoration (1960-77 type) =http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=1519&hl=VietnameseIt was certainly NEATER to mount all such foreign awards together Soviet style-- but rarely done, it seems.
