Guest Rick Research Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Paymaster Corps. Marine Oberzahlmeister:These poor guys stagnated in this rank for up to 15 years under the Weimar Republic. 1924: 31 of them and 2 only holding charakterisiert rank (waiting for somebody to die for a permanent opening)1926: 32 of them1931: 50 of them.By these later years, commissions were coming far sooner BUT this remained the Glass Ceiling rank anyway. While in 1924 most had 14 to 25 years of service, by 1926 the just promoted ones had 14 years time in, and by 1931 the freshly promoted had as little as 7 years service... but their seniors in grade had as much as 29 years of service in! :speechless1:
Paul R Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Now this is something we dont see... EVER! Nice one Rick!
