difficult large Belgian ribbon bar for 1939

    Recommended Posts

Alas this is as large as I could get it. I can't make out a single award so this will be a job for the experts.

Nearly impossible to tell I'm afraid. The only one I would dare to guess is the middle one on the bottom for the first world war commemorative medal. The one just before that should theoretically be the interallied victory medal.

    couldn't it be the Ijzermedal?

perhaps we should get to receive the original picture, so we can take a closer look?

The ribbons in between (right one on the second row and the left one on the bottom row) then would make sense as the Fire Cross and the Interallied Victory Medal

it surely is an officer, because some 'rosettes' can be seen on the top row, and as I zoom in, I must say 'love4' is more than right to say the one in the middle of the front row is the Yzer medal.
