Guest Rick Research Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 What's the whole document you've cropped the signature and stamps bit from?
Max Williams Posted November 1, 2008 Author Posted November 1, 2008 (edited) What's the whole document you've cropped the signature and stamps bit from?I don't have it. It's a scan been sent to me to try and help with ID. I didn't recognise the signature as it's not my area of collecting, but I've certainly heard of him. A very interesting guy.Max. Guest Rick Research Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Sometimes people seem to forget that the person who signed OFF on paperwork was signing it for...the person the paperwork was made out FOR...who is very often just as interesting. I don't recoignize the format of the place/date/rank sign off lines here. More elaborate than the usual draftee's discharge Good Conduct (F?hrungszeugnis) report, which made me wonder what it WAS written out for... and for whom.
