    Hard to tell from your image if it is gold colored or dark bronze that has been cleaned. If the latter do NOT clean it!!

    was awarded until 1906.

    From 1906 on, they went to gold finished to be similar to the other Kingdoms --->

    That's left of a M1913 XV Years for NCOs as size comparison. Most of the gold colored XXIV M1906s I've seen are marked "W.Co" on the ring for Weiss & Compagnie--

    They look more like bronze than gold... and have been that way for the 40+ years I've had 'em. They may have been cleaned prior, by someone "looking for gold! :) Do you know when the cross was first awarded? Any other info about it, or about it's "older brother," the 40-year cross?
