James Hoard Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 The Queen has approved the new government's recommendation to restore the titles of Knight (Sir) and Dame for the two highest classes of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Principal and Distinguished Companian will revert to Knight/Dame Grand Companion and Knight/Dame Companion.
