Zhukov Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I was told these were from Chechnya known as Chechnya Cross. Does anyone have any information on them please. Thanks ZNo1No 2
TacHel Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 The top one (black) is for Service in the Caucasus. It's the 1st class model, the 2nd class cross being outlined in silver in lieu of gold. The red one is a non official award no longer worn. There were a great many non official and unit awards made, they went the way of the Dodo.Check this thread, lots of info on this cross. Cheers!
